The Game says he’s “apologetic” for publicly speaking about his past relations with Kim Kardashian

The Game is sorry — sort of — for airing his dirty laundry with Kim Kardashian.
The rapper, 46, has publicly claimed for years that he slept with Kardashian, 45, prior to her marriage to Kanye West, and has even rapped about it on a pair of songs.
But on a Dec. 10 appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast, host Shannon Sharpe encouraged The Game to make nice, and asked him to apologize once and for all to the TV personality and businesswoman.
“Kim, I’m apologetic for the way that I displayed or discussed our inter-relations with the public,” The Game said, after some pushing from Sharpe.
Earlier in the conversation, the “Hate It or Love It” rapper admitted that there was “no excuse” for his behavior, and confessed that “sometimes, man, you wake up and choose a little violence.” He also revealed that he’d once received a call from Kardashian’s ex-husband (and his friend) West, who asked that he stop talking publicly about West’s then-wife.
“It’s just the wrong thing to do on the right day. I don’t stand on none of that. I shouldn’t have done that. But I did it,” he said. “And you know what, Ye, who is honest as he is, he called me and he was like, ‘You know I love you. But can we not ever talk about my wife again?’… And I said, ‘You know what, even though I’m bigger and stronger, you got that.’ So I gave it to him. I was like, ‘Man, I’m not gonna do that no more.’ And I haven’t.”
It remains unclear when the phone call took place, but Kardashian and West, 48, were married from 2014 to 2022, and share four children.
The Game went on to say that he hadn’t ever apologized to Kardashian because “her business was out there,” but said he had “a lot of love” for her mom Kris and sisters Khloé and Kourtney.

“We came up together, too. When we was going around, partying in L.A. in the early stages of my career, it was Paris [Hilton], Kim, Khloé, Kourtney,” he said. “We was all chillin’. But yeah, sometimes it is what it is.”
In 2016, The Game featured on the DJ Khaled song “Sauce,” and in the lyrics, claimed to have slept with three members of the Kardashian family.
In a subsequent appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, he skirted a question about which members of the family he’d been with, but hinted that Kim was among the three.
“Kanye is a really good friend of mine, and they’ve got really, really beautiful kids and I don’t want to disrespect their family,” he said on the show.
He also has an unreleased song about the star that features sexually explicit lyrics about sleeping with her.
