The latest trailer for the upcoming Street Fighter movie dropped on Thursday night.
WWE Superstars Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, along with rapper 50 Cent, were featured in the trailer.
Reigns also posted a picture of himself with actor Jason Momoa on X, as Momoa is set to star in the movie as well.
Rhodes will play Guile in the film, while Reigns was cast in the role of Akuma. Momoa stars in the movie as Blanka and 50 Cent is playing Balrog.
Rhodes discussed the role during an Oct. 2 appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.
“The physicality part of Guile I felt was an easy pickup,” Rhodes said (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News). “Bit of a spoiler of what is gonna be, I hope, a monster movie. Guile does a few things in terms of the video game — Guile’s gonna do the Sonic Boom, the Flash Kick. I was adamant that anything that’s a stunt, I’m gonna do it. If that requires me being on these wires, I wanna do it.”
“If you put another guy here in the corner who I know is gonna do the shot after, I still want a shot at it,” he added.
The movie, which is directed by Kitao Sakurai, will be set in 1993 as an homage to the era in which Super Street Fighter II’s popularity increased exponentially across arcades and home consoles.
Street Fighter is scheduled to release in theaters on Oct. 16, 2026.
