We already knew Andrew Cristall was a gem of a hockey player. Now we know he’s a character, too.

The silky-mitted forward was recently mic’d up at a Hershey Bears practice, where he showed off his fun personality.

Grant Cruikshank seemed to know what was coming, warning his teammates, “20 mic’d up, 20 mic’d up.”

“Nope,” Cristall replies, to the belief of no one.

The clip starts with Cristall taking a shot at a goaltender, but not quite to his liking.

“Ah, gave him a freebie. That was a,” and then he sings with a falsetto voice, “freeeeeebieeeeee.”

Eventually, the talented forward prospect makes his way to the Bears’ bench, where he encounters a nervous assistant equipment manager, Dillon Filepas.

Filepas, not wanting to catch any crossfire, tells Cristall, “You’ve been a beaut all day.” Likely, in an attempt to get him to leave him alone.

Cristall then asks, “You get that stuff figured out, or no? For your back? Like the rash, you’ve got that stuff figured out?”

Eventually, we find Cristall at center ice, surrounded by two of the tallest players in minor league hockey, Ilya Protas and Eriks Mateiko.

“Are you good, though?” Protas asks Cristall.

“At basketball?” Cristall replies. “Yeah.”

“Probably not,” Protas guesses.

“Yeah, I’m nasty,” Cristall says. He then turns to 6-foot-6 Eriks Mateiko. “Let’s go one-on-one, bro, at basketball. One-on-on me.”

All I can say is this is fantastic content. More of this please.
