Alright, everyone, I’m keeping up with the every two-week updates right now. It’s time for another round of adjustments, especially after SVG’s butt kicking in Sonoma. Plus, the return to ovals last weekend in Dover. Here is the latest update to the 2025 NASCAR Power Rankings.

The Beginning

Sonoma went better than expected I’m sure. Especially since Ryan isn’t known for being a good road racer. Now as for Dover well, RFK as a whole could be asked that question. It was under whelming. Indianapolis is next and bossman Brad, had a decent race last year maybe some notes to share with Ryan can help him rebound.

Sonoma was a really good day for Joey; he notched a top ten finish. No stage points, but a top ten is always welcome. Then at Dover was able to manage a top fifteen and one stage worth of points. It could be better, but it could be worse for the defending champion right now on the 2025 NASCAR Power Rankings.

So, he was able to finish p7 in “Wine Country” to follow up his strong road course showing in Mexico as well. Ty then went on to Dover and grabbed stage points in both stages and a top-five finish. His performance has been stepping up lately. Will we see a Ty win before the season’s up?

I’m not sure what’s going on with Ross. Whether it’s an actual problem or if they are experimenting since they won back at Charlotte. He only has two top tens in the last eight races. They need to fix it if they want to be a serious contender in the playoffs, and if Ross doesn’t want to continue his fall down the 2025 NASCAR Power Rankings.

Sonoma was mostly good; he was able to grab stage points in both stages before the bad finish. Now, as for Dover, again, another solid day. Stage points in one stage and a top ten finish. Solid is okay right now because he wants to keep a cushion in the playoff bubble, but he, too, will need to turn it up.

2025 NASCAR Power Rankings Top Ten

Alright, Mr. Briscoe I see you again. I know Atlanta, and Chicago were bad. You have stepped it up the last two weeks finishing second. Chase Briscoe could be continuing to climb these 2025 NASCAR Power Rankings, if he’s getting hot at the right point possibly.

The leader of the pack for his team last week at Dover with a ninth-place finish. No stage points though, Sonoma wasn’t much better, but he did grab stage points. While finishing, p16 shockingly to some.

A solid day in Sonoma, with a p6 finish. Tyler then went to Dover and was average at best in the Toyota camp, finishing p12. I like Tyler’s chance to rebound this week, but we shall see. He has been more of a “hit or miss” guy recently it feels.

William needed the weekend he had in Sonoma after the prior races. He was able to get stage points in both stages and finish p8. Dover wasn’t bad to start, while he was able to get stage points in both stages as well, the late accident, though, killed his finish. The #24 car is historically good in Indy, so can Willy B continue that?

Sonoma was an alright race overall. It could’ve been better for C Bell. Dover looked good at times, but then he would spin, and the last spin was too late for him to rebound. Either way, it was a good day for him, winning stage 2 and finishing second in stage 1. The Brickyard is up next, and as for C Bell, I don’t know what to expect.

Sonoma wasn’t the best day for Alex, he finished in the top twenty but didn’t grab any stage points. Now Dover was awesome. Which it being his best track I’m not surprised. I’ve been impressed with the drives Alex has been putting together lately especially as the playoffs loom closer.

Another HMS driver who had a very subpar Sonoma only to rebound nicely in Dover. Kyle hasn’t seemed like himself since the Coke 600 and Indy 500 double attempt. He was able to kiss the bricks last year, so it’s very much possible he does it again.

Man, it was a fun day. Thankful for the 12-Team and all of our partners. We had a good shot at Top 5, but overall I felt it was a good race for us. pic.twitter.com/D0iSNrHBYr

Sonoma was going good, until the accident where he got sent off the track by Buescher. Dover went better for him than his teammates and a lot of other Ford drivers in general. Ryan has some good tracks coming up as well in the coming weeks, as long as he survives a few more times.

Other than the Chicago Street Course finish of sixteenth. I feel like Chase has flipped some switch, possibly lately, or the team has in general, minus the stupid decisions we saw at Dover late to pit. Before that, he was easily the car to beat. I like what I’m seeing from the nine team as a whole.

Denny was doing Denny things in Dover again last weekend. I’d like to tell you I’m surprised, but I’m not. He now has four wins on the season and is looking to continue to add to that total. Sonoma was a blip, but we need to keep an eye on the Wiley veteran driver who still lacks a championship.
