Add Bryson DeChambeau to the list of golfers who blindly heap praise upon President Trump.

During a White House Christmas event this weekend, the golf star called Trump “an amazing human being” and praised his economy as “the greatest we’ve ever had,” even as polls show widespread public dissatisfaction with the nation’s economic conditions.

“I gotta tell you, what everybody’s doing here is incredible for the country, and I got to thank the President of the United States. He is such an amazing human being,” Dechambeau said in a clip shared on X/Twitter. “More importantly, as I’ve gotten to know him over the past decade now … what he’s done not just for our country, but just for every single person that he goes and interacts with is absolutely incredible.

“I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been around him and him just… look over to a kid and be like, ‘How are you doing? You’re doing so great, love you. Keep going forward, keep growing in life.’ It’s unbelievable what he does for families and for kids, and for that I say thank you and Merry Christmas to you guys.”

This comes a day before Trump’s unusual eulogy of the legendary film director Rob Reiner and his wife, producer Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their home on Sunday.

In a Truth Social post shared on X/Twitter, Trump said Reiner’s death was “due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.”

DeChambeau didn’t stop there. Despite rising costs in Trump’s second term and a recent AP-NORC poll showing just 31% of American adults approve of his handling of the economy, and 68% still rate it as “poor,” the golf star praised Trump’s economy as “the greatest we’ve ever had.”

DeChambeau is a professional golfer who has won multiple PGA Tour events, including the 2020 U.S. Open. He has also competed internationally in the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup, earning a reputation as one of the sport’s best players.

In 2022, he signed a reported four-year and $125 million deal to leave the PGA for the Saudi-backed LIV Golf.
