UPDATE: Several schools in the Soddy-Daisy area will remain closed on December 18 after a water main break.
Soddy Daisy High, Soddy Daisy Middle, Daisy Elementary, and Sequoyah Technical High School will be closed on Thursday, December 18.
The North River Future Ready Center will also remain closed.
Students who attend the Center will stay at their zoned schools for the day.
Hamilton County Schools said it “continued to monitor the water line issues in Soddy Daisy, and at this time do not feel we have enough information to ensure water can be available for normal school operations.”

Soddy-Daisy Middle and High Schools, Daisy Elementary School, and Sequoyah Technical High School will all be closed on Wednesday, December 17.
Crews are working to fix two active water main breaks in Hamilton County.
The North River Future Ready Center will also be closed.
