QB Josh Allen limited, but ‘will be playing’ Sunday
Bills quarterback Josh Allen finished Sunday’s win over the Browns with a foot injury. The Bills held a walkthrough on Wednesday, but if it was a full practice, the reigning league MVP would have been limited.
Allen addressed reporters on Tuesday and admitted that the foot is sore, but “it feels good. Ready to go.” When directly asked if he’s playing Sunday against the Eagles, Allen confidently said, “Yes, I will be playing.”
Allen had an X-ray on the foot at halftime of Sunday’s game, but did not miss any snaps.
Seven Bills would not have practiced on Wednesday. Buffalo shifted its schedule, so the Bills will not practice on Thursday, so the report will be an estimation as well.
It remains to be seen whether Allen will have two of his top targets at tight end as both Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox would not have practiced on Wednesday due to knee injuries.
Starting defensive tackle DaQuan Jones has been battling a calf injury. He would not have practiced on Wednesday.
Defensive end Joey Bosa (hamstring) and safety Jordan Poyer (ankle) also would have been sidelined on Wednesday.
