Cincinnati Police are searching for a suspect after a mother and two children were found shot in a car in the West End early Christmas morning.District One officers responded to a ShotSpotter call along Central Avenue and Kindel Avenue just before 3 a.m. They found a 36-year-old woman and her 10-year-old and 15-year-old daughters with gunshot wounds.The two children were taken to Cincinnati Children’s and the mother was taken to UC Medical Center. All three are expected to survive.WLWT crews saw a car on the scene riddled with bullet holes and shattered windows.That car has since been taken to the police impound lot for further investigation.Investigators say they have identified a suspect, but are not sharing that person’s name. They also have not announced any arrests.Police were searching for a silver Chevrolet Impala, in which the suspect is believed to have driven away.Officers say there were no known witnesses to the shooting, and no 911 calls were made.
