Things are getting steamy when it comes to Love Island USA’s ratings.

The reality show has amassed over 18B minutes viewed on Peacock, according to the NBCU streamer. This has made it Peacock’s most-watched original season ever.

In addition, Nielsen said the series was the No. 1 streaming original title in the U.S. for the week of the finale and was the No. 1 streaming reality title for six consecutive weeks.

It also found an audience on mobile – unsurprising given the young audience – with 30% of all usage on Peacock on these devices. Some 49% of the Season 7 audience also was new to the show, according to the streamer.

Its docuseries spinoff Love Island: Beyond the Villa also has been performing well, with Peacock saying that it scored the largest audience for an unscripted debut on the platform.

Season 7, which premiered on June 3 and is hosted by former Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, wrapped up on July 13.

It’s a remarkable run for the series, which nearly started on MTV, before CBS initially greenlighted and ran it for a few seasons. Peacock later snapped up the rights. It’s a rare entertainment format to break through years after its launch.

The show isn’t without controversy as a number of Islanders were kicked off due to racial slurs.
