Deepening Bond
Lulu (Alexa Havins) has been dealing with a lot lately. Rocco (Finn Carr) got into trouble with the break-in. And she and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) are on edge because Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is on the run and in Port Charles. And she doesn’t even know that Charlotte has seen her dad in person.
The one person who has been a rock for her through this hasn’t been Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). It has been Nathan (Ryan Paevey), and as a result, their friendship is growing. They can relate to each other. Nathan is back from the dead after several years. Meanwhile, Lulu has reentered life after a four-year coma.
The weekly spoilers suggest that Lulu and Nathan bond. Does their friendship simply deepen, or is this about something more? Because if it’s something more, they’re going to need to think long and hard about what that means. Things would be complicated.
Birthday Wish
While Nathan creates a bond with Lulu, his sister wants to create an opportunity to have fun. Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) wants to celebrate her birthday. So who does she turn to? Brad (Parry Shen), Jason (Steve Burton), or a third option?
For much of this year, she had little to celebrate. But now, Britt is back in Port Charles. Her relationship with her mom is finally thawing, she has reunited with Brad, and she has regained her medical license. Now, if she could just forget the fact that she witnessed Sidwell (Carlo Rota) kill Dalton (Daniel Goddard), her life would really be on the upswing.
Decisions and Commitments
While Trina (Tabyana Ali) makes a commitment, look for Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) to reach a decision. The Ashfords have been in a bad way as of late. When Portia (Brook Kerr) was forced to testify at Willow’s trial, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) blew up her life and the lives of her family. Now they are shattered. And Curtis still doesn’t know whether he’s the father of Portia’s baby.
Curtis and Jordan’s decision could also be about a commitment to each other. Or perhaps they decide to put off a true reunion until they find out whether Curtis will be a father again.
Reassurances
Finally, Valentin reassures Carly (Laura Wright). First of all, he owes Carly a lot. Not only is she giving him shelter, but she has also made a risky and bold move by engineering a Christmas reunion between him and Charlotte.
The fugitive may reassure Carly that she has nothing to worry about. Nobody will find him hiding out at her place, despite Carly leading Charlotte right to her attic, where he is staying. Or he could, once again, reassure her that he’s 100% all in on bringing down Jack (Chris McKenna).
Something tells us Carly will need constant reassurance for as long as she and Valentin collaborate on a plan to get revenge on Brennan. Things could easily go very, very wrong, and that wouldn’t be good.
