One injured, two arrested after Wednesday morning shooting in Marshall

One man was injured in a shooting early Wednesday morning in Marshall, and the identity of the shooter remains under investigation, police said.
Marshall Police Department officers and Harrison County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report that gunshots were fired in the 1900 block of Circle Drive around 2 a.m. Wednesday. Officers found a male victim who had been shot in both of his legs, police said. The victim was taken to a local medical facility for treatment.
Two men were arrested in connection with the shooting. Cedric Wrighten Jr., 18, was arrested on charges of deadly conduct and possession of a controlled substance. A juvenile was arrested for resisting arrest, search or transport, police said.
