The Green Bay Packers made 15 roster moves in Week 18, including the addition of cornerback Trevon Diggs. On Thursday, they added to that list by placing tight end McCallan Castles on the practice squad’s injured list, meaning that he likely suffered a season-ending injury during Wednesday’s practice. To replace him, the Packers have signed safety Mark Perry, a 2024 undrafted free agent who has spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans and Chicago Bears.

The Packers called up both of their safeties from the practice squad, Jonathan Baldwin and Jaylin Simpson, to the 53-man roster this week following Zayne Anderson’s placement on the injured reserve. Simpson also plays cornerback, which was impacted by the placement of Kamal Hadden and Nate Hobbs on the injured reserve, too.
