Here;’s hoping collectors have some money left in their holiday budget, because Topps has announced two new preorders for Monday, Jan. 5, and one of them is a huge favorite of prospect collectors.
Bowman’s Best 2025, which will feature a number of exciting players, including Baseball America’s No. 1 prospect Konnor Griffin and No. 2 prospect Kevin McGonigle, will be available for preorder on the Topps website starting at 1 p.m. ET.
As with many 2025 Topps products, it’s a later release than usual. Last year’s Bowman’s Best preorder took place in mid December 2024 in time for a Jan. 15, 2025 release.
Assuming no delays, a Jan. 5 preorder for this year’s version likely means a release in early February.
The Topps website has not yet listed a full checklist, pricing information or formats. A blurb on the page does indicate that each hobby box will include four autographs, just as last year’s version did.
Early product images released by Topps show some of the autographs, including a patch auto of recently graduated prospect Jac Caglianone.

Topps says the product will also include double, triple and even quadruple autos to hunt.
Inserts such as Strokes of Gold and Showpieces will return, and a new insert called Best-Tek will make its debut.

Stay tuned for Baseball America’s deeper dive into the Bowman’s Best checklist—including a look at prospects you’ll want to keep an eye on—once Topps releases the full checklist.
And as mentioned above, Bowman’s Best isn’t the only belated 2025 Topps product available for preorder on Monday. Topps Pristine 2025 will also be available for preorder at noon ET. That is many months later than usual, as last year Pristine came out in August.
