Lamine Yamal took inspiration from Gabriel Magalhaes after Barcelona’s derby win over Espanyol.

Hours after Arsenal beat Bournemouth in the Premier League, Barcelona beat Espanyol late on in La Liga to extend their lead at the top of the table.

The Catalan giants are in a similar situation to the Gunners, being chased in the race for the league title by one of the world’s best squads.

It’s not only on the pitch that Arsenal and Barcelona have similarities, as Yamal showed after the win in Catalonia, taking a page from Gabriel’s book.

Gabriel showed why he’s elite against Bournemouth, which was the second time in the space of a week.

Before the trip to the Vitality, Arsenal beat Aston Villa 4-1 at the Emirates, a match that the defender starred in, on and off the pitch.

After the win over Villa, Gabriel mocked Amadou Onana by copying his celebration, and now, Yamal has done the same.

On Barcelona’s official X account, Yamal was spotted doing the three-point action to celebrate the win, taking inspiration from Gabriel.

The celebration has been doing the rounds since the Arsenal star stole it from Onana, now reaching Catalonia, where one of the best players in the world has followed suit.

Aston Villa players didn’t like that Gabriel copied Onana’s celebration

Yamal might’ve loved what Gabriel did after Arsenal beat Aston Villa, but those from Unai Emery’s squad certainly didn’t.

After that win, Onana took to Instagram to dub himself the ‘most wanted Premier League player ever’, which triggered discussion about Gabriel in the comments.

Lucas Digne wrote, ‘people without inspiration’, a comment that Onana liked and responded to by saying, ‘crazy’.

Gabriel clearly got under Villa’s skin with his celebration, so it would be fascinating to see how Onana and co are feeling about Yamal taking inspiration.
