MADISON, Wis.– The college football transfer portal officially opened this past week. And as expected,Wisconsin football, the staff and recruiting department went right to work.

The Badgers have been hosting a slew of visitors. And the last few days, the staff has been on a tear. Wisconsin added to their portal haul, adding Oklahoma State offensive lineman Austin Kawecki. 

He joins Iowa State safety Carson Van Dinter, BGSU tight end Jacob Harris, Iowa State running back Abu Sama, OKST cornerback Eric Fletcher, SIU tight end Ryan Schwendeman, and ODU quarterback Colton Joseph for the Badgers so far. 

He has one year left of eligibility, with most of his playing career having been on the interior offensive line.
