As the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark averaged 19.2 points per game and had the highest assists-per-game ratio of 8.4, while part of a team that had the third highest points per game in the league.

Clark has played an influential role in the growth of women’s basketball and the WNBA, earning the plaudits of NBA stars such as LeBron James and Steph Curry.

The 22-year-old was heavily touted to be at the Olympic Games but was not selected, as the US women’s basketball team won an eighth consecutive gold medal at Paris 2024.

Despite her disappointment to not be in the French capital, Clark will have her sights firmly set on LA 2028 in four years’ time, the prospect of being one of the leading faces in the side at their home Games.
