Two people were hospitalized after a crash involving an ambulance along a busy road in West Chester on Tuesday night.The crash happened in the 8500 block of Beckett Road, near Beckett Park, around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday.West Chester investigators said a West Chester Township ambulance was returning from a trip to take a patient to the hospital when it was involved in the crash.Two people who were in the other car were seriously injured and taken to UC Health West Chester Hospital. It’s not known what their conditions are or how the crash happened. Police said the paramedics in the ambulance treated the patients before they were transported.
