The K-pop superstars of BTS have returned — and tour dates are just around the corner.

The seven members of BTS — Jin, RM, Suga, J‑Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook — have completed their compulsory military service in South Korea, and last year, teased their 2026 comeback. On January 1, BIGHIT MUSIC announced in a press release that BTS will drop their long-awaited record on March 20, marking their first release in almost four years following 2022’s Proof.

Now, BIGHIT has revealed that world tour dates will be announced on January 14 at 12 a.m.

BTS Tour Ticket Price Forecast

Even though BTS hasn’t announced ticket prices yet, previous resale-market trends give fans a rough framework for what demand can do once dates drop.

Data from resale marketplace Ticket Club looking at shows over the past decade shows average BTS ticket prices ranging from about $144 on the low end (Wembley, 2019) to nearly $977 at the peak (Las Vegas, 2022). Across all BTS concerts, the “typical” show often fell into a high-$200s to mid-$500s average price to consumers, with a median around $445.

Given the rapid inflation in primary market ticket prices that has taken place while the group has been on hiatus, it is not outrageous to speculate that the price to fans from the box office when tickets go on sale to this new tour might match or exceed those numbers from prior years.

New Album & Return to the Road

BIGHIT noted that the new album “holds special significance as it marks the first album released by the group in three years and nine months, while also indicating the direction the group will take going forward,” adding that the members were “deeply involved in the creation of the songs, infusing their own thoughts and colors into them while musically expressing the emotions and struggles they have experienced along their journey.”

“Featuring 14 tracks, the album is packed with honest stories that BTS wants to share with ARMY, who have been waiting for their pm comeback as a whole group,” BIGHIT shared. “Filled with the music that’s most true to BTS, the album is their heartfelt way of saying thank you to ARMY, who have been there this whole time.”

BTS first hinted at the comeback date in personal, handwritten letters sent to members of their official fandom, ARMY, who maintained their Weverse membership over the past three years. In the letters, the band wrote the date “2026.03.20.” Those who did not receive a letter will be able to read the same message on Weverse later this month.

BTS (방탄소년단), also known as the Bangtan Boys or Beyond the Scene, first debuted in 2013 and rapidly became a global phenomenon with chart-toppers like “Dynamite” and landmark achievements as the first non‑English act to headline stadiums like Wembley and the Rose Bowl.

In June 2022, the group paused group activities to fulfill mandatory military duties. Jin enlisted in December 2022, followed by other members throughout 2023–2025; Suga served via alternative public service due to a shoulder injury. The final members finished service in mid‑June 2025, completing BTS’s full discharge and paving the way for the long-awaited group return.
