HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – There’s a brand-new piece of aviation history waiting for explorers at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.
The L39 Albatross jet has just been added to the Space and Rocket Center campus.
Former Space Camp participant and NASA administrator, Jared Issacman, donated the plane to the Space and Rocket Center.
It’s now standing at the entrance of the Inspiration4 building.
The jet is also painted identically to the one flown by Issacman himself in the Black Diamond Jet team.
