Veteran programmer Cat Thomas has joines SonicTrek.ai as As Director of Marketing & AI Affiliate/Talent Acquisitions.
Thomas most recently served as Operations Manager for Beasley Media Las Vegas from 2020 until last August. He also served as Program Director for Hot AC “102.7 VGS” KVGS and Rock/Alternative “X107.5” KXTE. Prior to Beasley, Thomas spent 27 years at CBS Radio Las Vegas where he started as afternoon host of CHR 98.5 KLUC in July 1988, took over as Program Director in December 1996 and then rose to Vice President of Programming for the cluster in May 2015. He would move to Cumulus Media as Vice President of Contemporary Formats in February 2016 and then spent two years as Operations Manager of Entercom’s CHR “Now 96.3” KNOU, Hot AC “Y98” KYKY, and AC 102.5 KEZK St. Louis.
In his new role, Thomas will work with Chief Revenue Officer Mike Agovino in exploring and on-boarding new affiliation opportunities andcollaborate with CEO Joel Denver and Director of Programming Dennis Constantine on localized marketing strategies and station formatics, and recruiting new AI hosts.
