When NBA players get traded, there’s a million logistical things for them to consider. Where are they going to live in their new city? How are they going to acclimate in a locker room full of guys they’ve never spent any meaningful time with? And, in the case of Corey Kispert, a new member of the Atlanta Hawks’ roster, how is he going to get all of his clothes shipped to the ATL?
On Wednesday night, Kispert officially became part of the biggest trade of the NBA season thus far. After playing nearly 500 games for the Hawks—and becoming their all-time leader in assists and three pointers in the process—Trae Young was shipped out of town. In return for its erstwhile franchise player, Atlanta received veteran CJ McCollum (he of the 10 straight seasons averaging 20 points a night) and 26-year-old Corey Kispert (he of the understated drip).

Kispert is mostly a three-point specialist, and has been for each of his five seasons in the league, all of which were spent with the Wiz. Washington plucked him out of Gonzaga with the 15th pick of the 2021 draft, and he developed into a solid bench player. Along the way, he also started dressing.
