A financial planning firm headquartered in Tysons Corner will soon be relocating to Old Town.
Pillar Wealth Partners will embark on its next chapter when it opens in the Atrium Building at 277 S. Washington Street on Feb. 1. An office warming and ribbon cutting will be held Feb. 10 to celebrate.
“We look forward to contributing to the local business ecosystem and being part of Alexandria’s thriving professional community,” Charlotte Huger, the firm’s chief operating officer, told ALXnow in an email.
Huger and Alexandria native Nazzareno “Nazz” Spurio founded the company last year with a focus on “goal-based comprehensive planning, tax planning strategies, estate planning, insurance protection analysis and asset management,” according to the company website.
Pillar Wealth announced the move two weeks ago on LinkedIn. The firm’s Tysons Corner office at 8251 Greensboro Drive will remain open, but Alexandria will serve as its “home base,” it wrote.
“The new space gives us room to grow, host client events, and continue raising the bar on the planning experience we deliver — all while staying deeply connected to the community,” Pillar wrote. “From Alexandria to Tysons, the Pillar community is growing — and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you into our new home.”
The Pillar Wealth team is not the only group with its eyes on the Atrium. In June, D.C. Italian restaurant Floriana intends to open there on the ground floor.
