WVU has picked up a commitment from Clemson transfer tight end Josh Sapp, per a post on his Instagram page.
Sapp, a 6-foot-2, 235 pound redshirt junior, was a regular in the Tigers’ rotation this season, logging a career-high 267 snaps. He’s a hybrid pass catcher/blocker, with 40.8 percent of his snaps being as a blocker in 2025. He hauled in 11 catches for 150 yards on the year, and has 273 career receiving yards with 2 touchdowns.
Throughout his four-year Clemson career, Sapp played in 468 snaps. The Greenville, SC, native is a former three star recruit out of the class of 2022 and visited both WVU and South Carolina this offseason.
