PIERCE, Neb. (KTIV) – Two drivers have died, and a passenger was sent to the hospital, after a crash last week in Northeast Nebraska.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office says two vehicles collided on Highway 98, about two miles east of the town of Pierce.
At about 9:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, the sheriff’s office says 46-year-old Marco Antonio Ordonez was driving on Highway 98 when their vehicle crossed the center line and struck another vehicle. Ordonez was pronounced deceased at the crash scene.
According to the sheriff’s office, the second vehicle’s driver was 68-year-old Ronald Woslager, who was taken to a Norfolk, Nebraska, hospital where he died from his injuries. His wife, 66-year-old Jean Woslager, was also taken to the Norfolk hospital before being transferred to Omaha.
The crash is still being investigated as of Monday, Jan. 12, 2026.
