The Baltimore Orioles are leaning into hip hop history and local culture in 2026 with a Tupac Shakur bobblehead giveaway at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
The team announced that fans attending the Orioles’ home game against the Oakland Athletics on Friday, May 8 will receive a Tupac bobblehead as part of the club’s newly unveiled promotional schedule. The giveaway is part of a broader slate of theme nights, special ticket packages, and fan-focused experiences that go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, January 14.
While Tupac is most often associated with the West Coast, he has deep roots in Baltimore. Shakur attended the Baltimore School for the Arts as a teenager, where he studied acting, poetry, jazz, and ballet. He frequently credited the city with shaping him artistically and intellectually, once calling Baltimore “full of young, bright, intellectuals.” His time in the city has remained a point of pride for Baltimore, with murals, tributes, and continued recognition of his influence decades later.
The Tupac bobblehead will be part of “Party at the Yard Fridays,” a new weekly promotion presented by Coors Light. Every Friday home game will feature $5 Coors Lights for the first hour after gates open at the Coors Light Roof Deck and Legends Park, along with live music, photo opportunities, and surprise celebrity Guest Splashers in the Bird Bath Splash Zone.
The Orioles also announced a Pete Alonso bobblehead giveaway on Saturday, August 22 against the Tampa Bay Rays, two fireworks nights on Friday, April 10 and Friday, May 29 presented by SeatGeek, and the return of popular fan events like Bark at Oriole Park nights. Additional promotions and ticket packages will be announced later.
Family-focused programming is also expanding with the introduction of “Family Sundays,” which will include kids-only autograph sessions with players and coaches, live music and dance parties, mascot meet-and-greets, and opportunities for children to take part in pregame and in-game activities. Kids Run the Bases will return after every Sunday home game for children ages 4 to 12.
Tickets for all 2026 regular season home games, along with current promotional details and special ticket packages, will be available at Orioles.com/Tickets and Orioles.com/Promotions.
