Asus uses a gray aluminum chassis, giving the ExpertBook PM3 a very high-quality look. There is a small, polished edge on the top of the base unit and the black keyboard provides a nice contrast.Â
The lid opens to a maximum angle of 180°, and there are no problems with either the stability or the workmanship. The laptop offers good upgradability options including 2x SO-DIMM, 2x SSD, and WLAN.
There are plenty of ports including Gigabit Ethernet, although USB4/Thunderbolt 4 and a card reader are absent. The MediaTek Wi-Fi 7 module achieves very good and stable transfer rates. The 1080p webcam, which features a mechanical privacy shutter and an IR sensor, does not take particularly good pictures.
The ExpertBook PM3 is a Copilot+ laptop and in addition to the AI functions of Windows, Asus also offers its own business-focused tools that are easily accessible via the ExpertPanel software.
These include, for example, an AI meeting manager that records, transcribes, analyzes, summarizes, and offers easy watermarking for presentations.
