Hunt 40 Carbon Gravel Dynamo Wheelset (£1,599)

A couple of years ago, British wheel brand Hunt introduced fully recyclable carbon fibre to its gravel wheelsets, and the 40 Carbon Gravel Dynamo Wheelset features this recyclable rim technology. The 40mm deep rims use H-Cyclo technology to separate carbon fibres and resin using heat and agitation, so that both components can be re-used.
They are optimised for 35-50mm tyres, according to Hunt, and can accommodate widths of up to 60mm. The wheels also have a 40T rear hub and SON 28 Dynamo front hub, and a pair of these weighs 1,902g.

Milo claims its Action Communicator “revolutionises the way we communicate on outdoor adventures”. The 80g device fits in the palm of your hand and allows you to voice chat with a group without WiFi or phone signal.
The Action Communicator can be mounted to your handlebars, clothing or backpack and you don’t need to push any buttons to communicate. Milo claims the range between two communicators is 600 metres, and that you’ll get a full day of battery life.
Dave Atkinson is currently testing this one, so check back soon for his full verdict.
Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro (£329.99)

The Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro is positioned as an advanced multisport smartwatch and interestingly for us, it offers wrist-based cycling power. The watch uses GPS, barometer data and personal metrics to deliver real-time power estimates in watts, without the need for a dedicated power meter. You can also sync the watch to your phone and it will read directions aloud during activities.
Battery life is said to be up to 21 days in light use or around 12 days with typical use. The GT 6 Pro also includes many of the features we’ve come to expect from modern smartwatches, such as HRV and sleep tracking, GPS and heart-rate monitoring, but also ECG analysis.

The Assos Winter Gloves P1 offer “windproof, water-repellent protection with a streamlined fit”, and have been updated with more insulation, a softer lining and touchscreen compatibility, according to Assos.
For those who don’t like bulky winter gloves, Assos describes the P1 as providing low volume insulation with a streamlined silhouette. Despite their slim profile, the brand claims they offer “complete protection against all but the worst conditions”.
The gloves are available in a wide range of sizes from XS to 2XL, and check back soon for Becky Dowds’ full review.

Described as combining the advantages of a cable tie and an elastic tension strap, “without their disadvantages”, the FixPlus Strap is a 66cm long, 2.2cm wide, reusable fastening option. It offers the flexibility of an elastic strap and can be used with one hand, according to the brand.
It’s said to have a tensile strength of up to 90kg , weighs 38g and is available in six colours.
