A handful of players are on the move after a three-team trade on Thursday.

Per ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the Tampa Bay Rays, Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Angels agreed to a deal that will send outfielder Josh Lowe to the Angels, infielder Gavin Lux and right-hander Chris Clark to the Rays and left-handed reliever Brock Burke to the Reds

Lux spent the first five years of his career with the Los Angeles Dodgers before being traded to the Reds ahead of the 2025 campaign. In 140 games, he hit five home runs and 53 RBI while slashing .269/.350/.374.

Lux recently avoided arbitration with the Reds, signing a one-year, $5.5 million contract.

In addition to Lux, the Rays will get some future talent in Clark. The 24-year-old spent most of the 2025 campaign in Single-A, recording a 5.50 ERA in 20 appearances.

The trade marks the first time Lowe will have played for another team other than the Rays. He made his debut with Tampa Bay in 2021 and has come into his own over the last three years. In 2025, he had 11 home runs and 40 RBI while slashing .220/.283/.366 in 108 games.

The 27-year-old signed a $2.6 million deal with the Rays to avoid arbitration.

Burke, who is entering his sixth MLB season, started his career with the Texas Rangers, winning a World Series with them in 2023. After struggling to start the 2024 campaign, he was designated for assignment by the Rangers, later being claimed by the Angels.

He put together one of the best seasons of his career in 2025, recording a 3.36 ERA with 52 strikeouts across 61.2 innings.
