May Jesus forgive the church in America. While about 80% of immigrants who are in the United States without the necessary documentation profess faith in Christ, this nation has, in my view, become one of the world’s largest persecutors of Christians.

We clothe injustice in political language and twist Scripture to soothe our consciences, but God is not mocked.

Supporting policies that rip mothers from children and cast families from their homes — people with no criminal history — is not righteousness. It is violence against the image of God and a sin crying out for repentance.
