We’re now less than a month away from the release of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on February 12th, and ahead of launch, we’ve been learning about loads of retro games that’ll be part of the package.
The thing that’s getting the most attention right now is that no less than 12 SEGA Game Gear titles will be playable inside of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Tides, including the likes of Sonic Chaos, Pac-Man and Streets of Rage.
Here’s the full list of those 12 SEGA Game Gear titles, many with split-screen multiplayer support:

Beyond this, we also know that at least three old-school SEGA arcade games will be part of the new Yakuza Kiwami 3 release, with those being Emergency Call Ambulance, SlashOut and Magical Truck Adventure.
All in all, it’s sounding like an amazing collection of retro titles, but there is some disgruntlement online that they’re not making them playable outside of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. We can understand the disappointment, but there’s also something really special about getting to enjoy classic games inside of the Yakuza / Judgment / Like a Dragon series’.
