One driver was taken to a hospital after a vehicle crashed through the front doors of the Shrewsbury Police Department on Monday afternoon.Police said the 2022 black BMW SUV slammed into the building at 2:02 p.m. Sky5 flew over the damaged building and saw the BMW’s hazard lights flashing inside.The front of the building was surrounded by crime scene tape, and debris was scattered on the ground.”The vehicle actually went through the front door and actually went into the dispatch. No passengers were in the vehicle, and no one else was injured.According to Anderson, the crash appeared to be intentional.Anderson said that the driver went through pylons positioned near the front door, designed to prevent drivers from hitting the building, before crashing into the department’s front lobby.”He went through the front two doors, through the lobby, and then went through the wall of the dispatch center,” Anderson said.
