Paige Bueckers and Cameron Brink powered the Breeze on Saturday, combining for 55 points in an 83-64 win over Breanna Stewart and the Mist.

Bueckers set the tone with an Unrivaled career-high 37 points on 14-of-19 shooting, lifting the Breeze to 3-2 on the season after back-to-back losses to defending champion Rose and the Vinyl. The rookie also filled the stat sheet with five assists and eight rebounds.

Brink delivered a strong performance off the bench, finishing with 18 points, six rebounds and a block. Rickea Jackson chipped in 10 points, while Dominique Malonga recorded a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds.

For the Mist, Stewart led the way with 26 points, 11 rebounds and two steals, while Allisha Gray added 20 points, two steals and two blocks as the team fell to 3-2.

The Breeze carried a seven-point lead into halftime, sparked by a strong second quarter from Brink after Bueckers set the tone with a big opening quarter.

After three periods, the Breeze stretched the margin to 15, leading 72-57 with the target score in play. Bueckers sealed the win with a two-point jumper to reach the target and secure the 83-64 victory.

The Breeze will next face the winless Lunar Owls (0-4), led by Skylar Diggins-Smith, Napheesa Collier and Aaliyah Edwards, on Saturday.
