Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Teresa M. Cinnamond to its
Denver office as a partner in the firm’s General Liability
and Professional Liability practices. For more than 30 years, Ms.
Cinnamond has successfully defended clients of all sizes against a
variety of liability claims including construction site accidents,
professional negligence, defamation, and others.
With extensive experience and a strong track record of success
at all stages of litigation, she consistently achieves
clients’ legal and business objectives in complex and
high-exposure matters. Ms. Cinnamond relocated to Colorado after
spending more than 25 years practicing in state and federal courts
throughout New York and New Jersey, and in other jurisdictions on a
pro hac vice basis. She joins the firm from Kennedys.
In discussing her decision to join Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Cinnamond
explained, “I am thrilled to have joined Lewis
Brisbois’ talented team in the Mile High City. Colorado is a
state that provides businesses and attorneys with significant
opportunities for growth, particularly in the construction and
liability arenas. Lewis Brisbois’ deep bench and national
platform also appealed to me. In fact, I am currently defending a
defamation case in federal court in Washington, D.C. and look
forward to continuing to work with clients and colleagues across
the country. I became a lawyer to be an advocate, and joining Lewis
Brisbois will allow me to continue to do just that.”

Ms. Cinnamond earned her law degree, with honors, from the
Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and her
undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Richmond.
She is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in
Colorado, New York, and New Jersey as well as before the U.S.
Courts of Appeals for the Third and Ninth Circuits.
