American Express 2026 prize money: Full payout from $9.2 million purse

Scottie Scheffler is the second-youngest player to reach 20 PGA Tour wins, and in claiming the 2026 American Express championship he will take home $1,656,000 to make him just the third man to earn more than a $100,000,000 in his career.

Scheffler, who finished 27 under on the tournament, was dominant Sunday. He bested 54-hole leader Si Woo Kim and 18-year-old Blades Brown who he was grouped with during his final round.

Americans Ryan Gerard, Andrew Putnam, and Matt McCarty shared a tie for second place with Aussie Jason Day — all of whom finished four strokes off Scheffler.
