SOUTHERN OREGON – Rogue Regional Medical Center and Three Rivers Medical Center have been named on Forbes’ Top Hospitals 2026 list. This recognition highlights the excellence of local health care teams in Southern Oregon and Northern California.
The ratings evaluate general acute care hospitals in the U.S., serving as a resource for patients seeking top-notch medical services. Only 259 hospitals received five-star honors, including Rogue Regional and Three Rivers.
Patrick Sharp, CEO of Three Rivers Medical Center, expressed gratitude for the recognition. “As a non-profit health care provider for our rural communities, we are grateful for the high honor of this recognition. The skilled, compassionate work happening daily in our hospitals is evident,” said Sharp.
The award analyzed data from the Provider Data Catalog by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, focusing on patient outcomes, best practices, and patient experience. Jon Cooper, CEO of Rogue Regional Medical Center, emphasized the dedication of their staff. “This honor is about the people who work here, sharing their talents, time and energy. They are passionate about providing the best care,” said Cooper.
Asante, the largest health care provider in the region, serves 600,000 people and offers comprehensive medical care across nine counties.
