SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Staff at Wonders of Wildlife brought their penguins outside to play in the snow on Tuesday.
The gentoo penguins enjoyed the cold snow while basking in warm sunshine. The experience gave them a taste of weather similar to their native Antarctic habitat.
The penguins joined children and adults across the region who ventured outside to enjoy the winter conditions.
