Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley made a striking pair on the red carpet at the premiere of their new movie Wuthering Heights.

Robbie and Ackerley, both 35, kept close as they posed together on the red carpet in Los Angeles for Wuthering Heights’ premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Robbie wore a form-fitting Schiaparelli gown to the premiere and accessorized with the Cartier Taj Mahal necklace from the Elizabeth Taylor Archive and Estate, while her film producer husband wore a classic black tuxedo for the star-studded premiere.

Wuthering Heights, the Emerald Fennell written-and-directed adaptation of the classic 19th century British novel, is the latest movie Robbie and Ackerley, who married in 2016, have produced together through their company LuckyChap Entertainment. Ackerley is credited as an executive producer on the movie, while Robbie is credited as a producer in addition to her leading role as Catherine Earnshaw.

Robbie and Ackerley first met in 2013 on the set of a movie titled Suite Française, which Ackerley worked on as a third assistant director and Robbie starred in with Michelle Williams. The actress has said that she was not looking for love at the time they met, but she told Vogue in 2016 that she thought Ackerley was “the best-looking guy in London” and that their romance “crept up on me.” “And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before,’ ” she said at the time.

Ackerley and Robbie cofounded their production company LuckyChap Entertainment in 2014 and have since produced Robbie’s movies like I, Tonya and Barbie. They also produced both of filmmaker Fennell’s movies, Promising Young Woman and Saltburn, before Robbie herself stepped in front of the camera for Fennell, 40, to costar with Jacob Elordi in Wuthering Heights.

The couple also welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in late 2024. Neither Robbie nor Ackerley have shared their son’s name or his birthdate publicly yet. Following Wuthering Heights’ release, the Hollywood power couple have projects like a long-stirring Ocean’s Eleven spinoff that would star Robbie in the works. Multiple outlets reported back in October that Robbie and Bradley Cooper would star in the movie, a prequel to the George Clooney-led Ocean’s heist trilogy.

Wuthering Heights is in theaters Feb. 13.
