CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Cedar Rapids Kernels announced Monday Veterans Memorial Stadium will go cashless for the 2026 season.

“Veterans Memorial Stadium will join stadiums and ballparks across the country in transitioning to a cashless experience, creating a faster, more efficient and more secure payment system for fans,” Kernels CEO Steve Brice said.

The Kernels say 29 MLB teams have cashless stadium experiences, including their own parent club, the Minnesota Twins.

The team says credit, debit, and gift cards will be accepted at all locations in the stadium. Fans with cash will be able to exchange it for a stadium gift card at the team store and box office at the ballpark.
