“You cannot be serious!”

John McEnroe might as well have used his classic line on a fan who appeared to stalk him for a photo at the airport on his way out of Melbourne where he was broadcasting the Australian Open for ESPN.

Dressed in all black with a guitar on his back, the 66-year-old McEnroe is shown in a video arriving at the airport when a young fan asks, “Do you need help with any of your bags?”

“I need you to stay away from me, OK,” McEnroe responded as he proceeded toward the airport flanked by security.

The fan then continued to follow the seven-time Grand Slam singles champion with a camera and asked if they could take a selfie.

“Just get away, OK?” McEnroe asked.

“Can we stop him?” McEnroe asked the security guards as the fan took a selfie from a slight distance with himself and the tennis legend.

After the fan said, “Can I just get a photo?” McEnroe shouted, “Will you stop. Stop. Jesus Christ.”

As McEnroe walked away finally, the fan said, “I still love you, John.”

And a clearly annoyed McEnroe responded as only he can: “Go f— yourself.”
