The eight-player field is set.

The NBA announced the players who will take part in the 2026 3-Point Contest, where there are several storylines for the players involved.

In a rather unprecedented move, Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard is in the pool despite being out for the season to rehab a torn Achilles.

So, what’s the full list of players and where will the event be available to watch and stream? Here’s everything to know:

When is the 2026 NBA 3-Point Contest?

The contest is set for Saturday, Feb. 14 at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT. It is the second event of All-Star Saturday.

Who is participating in the 2026 NBA 3-Point Contest:

Here’s the eight-player field:

Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns

Kon Knueppel, Charlotte Hornets

Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers

Tyrese Maxey, Philadelphia 76ers

Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland Cavaliers

Jamal Murray, Denver Nuggets

Bobby Portis Jr., Milwaukee Bucks

Norman Powell, Miami Heat

Both Lillard (2023, 2024) and Booker (2018) are the only participants who have won the contest before. Lillard, 35, is seeking to tie the record of three contests won, shared by Larry Bird and Craig Hodges.

Maxey, Portis Jr., Murray and Knueppel, a rookie, are all making their debuts.

Who is the reigning NBA 3-Point Contest winner?

In the 2025 contest, Heat guard Tyler Herro outlasted Lillard to both win and prevent a three-peat.
