PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – The Portland Fire will play two preseason games as the franchise prepares for its return to the court in 2026, the team announced Wednesday.
Portland will open the preseason on the road against the Seattle Storm on April 29 at 7 p.m. at Climate Pledge Arena. The Fire will then host the Los Angeles Sparks on May 3 at 4 p.m. at the Moda Center.
Tickets for the May 3 preseason home game have not yet gone on dale. The team said preseason tickets will be included with season ticket memberships.
The Fire are set to open the regular season at home on May 9, hosting Chicago Sky at 6 p.m. at the Moda Center. Additional details about broadcast and streaming options will be announced later.
The Portland Fire are one of the WNBA’s newest franchises and will make their on-court debut in 2026.
