VASS, N.C. (WTVD) — The Moore County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide that occurred Saturday morning.

Deputies responded to a shooting report at a residence on Daphne Lane at 7:45 a.m., where they found a 28-year-old and a 21-year-old dead inside the home.

The suspect, identified as Caleb Hayden Fosnaugh, 25, of Ohio, left the scene before authorities arrived. Warrants have been issued for his arrest on charges of breaking and entering and two counts of murder.

Investigators believe he left the county after the shooting and may be driving a white 2018 Ford Mustang with a black front driver-side fender, possibly displaying an Ohio license plate. He is considered “armed and dangerous,” and the public is advised not to approach him.
