The Marvel Cinematic Universe has seemingly finally revealed what the Scorpion will look like in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Through the Brazilian store, Piticas, a first new look at Michael Mando’s MCU return with his Scorpion costume in Spider-Man: Brand New Day is featured for the marketing of official products related to the Marvel icon. The banner also features a glimpse of Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, while also including the Spider-Man villains, Tarantula and Boomerang. Check it out below.

Scorpion, Boomerang, and Tarantula in Spider-Man Brand New Day marketing art
Mando was first announced on August 1, 2025, by The Hollywood Reporter to be reprising his role from Spider-Man: Homecoming. The actor was also seen through set photos during production in October 2025, as Mac Gargan was spotted in prison attire, leaving a helicopter.
At the time of this story’s publication, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have not formally announced any actors to be playing Boomerang and Tarantula. The characters have also not been officially announced to be part of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day cast, but could very well be surprise players for the story.
If Tarantula and Boomerang end up having any role to play in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day story, the Phase 6 installment would mark their live-action debuts. However, it’s key to take into account that this doesn’t 100% mean that they are the central antagonists, as it’s still unknown who is the main threat in this film.
It makes sense to have more details being marketed for Tom Holland’s big film, since it is less than half a year away. But it also raises more questions about when the first Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer will finally be released.
Whenever the footage finally arrives, that could be where the audience gets to see Mando’s Scorpion costume in action. There are still a lot of Spider-Man: Brand New Day mysteries left to be answered, including who Sadie Sink is actually playing, as well as how Punisher and Hulk are being factored into the plot.
Marvel’s Tombstone is also making his live-action debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with Marvin Jones III bringing the character to life, but this won’t be his first time playing Lonnie Lincoln. The Black Lightning star previously voiced Tombstone in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31.
