THIS IS WHAT POLICE SAY THEY FOUND IN THAT STORAGE UNIT IN BRUNSWICK. THEY ALSO SEARCHED DORGAN’S APARTMENT AND HIS WORK LOCKER AND BATH. IN TOTAL, INVESTIGATORS SEIZED TWO GUNS, AN AR 15 STYLE RIFLE, AMMUNITION AND SEVERAL OTHER FIREARM ACCESSORIES FROM THE LOCATIONS. DORGAN IS ACCUSED OF KILLING HIS EX-WIFE AND ADULT SON IN THE ARENA DURING A HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY GAME MONDAY, BEFORE TAKING HIS OWN LIFE. Guns and ammunition were allegedly recovered from the suspected Pawtucket, Rhode Island, ice rink shooter’s home and personal storage unit in Maine following a search warrant on Wednesday.According to Pawtucket police, the Maine State Police and the FBI searched 56-year-old Robert Dorgan’s apartment and work locker in Bath, Maine, as well as his storage unit in Brunswick.Officers allegedly recovered an electronic device, various ammunition, firearm accessories, and personal identification documents at Dorgan’s apartment.In his storage unit, investigators said they found a sawed-off shotgun, an AR-15 style rifle, a handgun frame, various ammunition, and firearm accessories.No items of interest were recovered from Dorgan’s work locker.Dorgan is accused of walking into the Dennis M. Lynch Arena on Monday and shooting and killing his ex-wife, son, and injuring three others before turning the gun on himself.After the shooting occurred, police identified a white van with a Maine license plate as Dorgan’s vehicle.Items inside the van helped officers identify Dorgan’s home address and the address of his storage unit, according to investigators.Police said Dorgan did have a Florida firearms carry permit, but were not aware of any Rhode Island concealed carry permit.The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) conducted a trace on the two handguns Dorgan used at Lynch Arena.Officials said the first gun, a Glock 29 (10MM), was purchased by Dorgan in Jacksonville, Florida, on Sept. 19, 2021. The second gun, a Sig Sauer P226 (.357), was purchased by Dorgan on July 13, 2019, in West Warwick, Rhode Island.The seized guns and ammunition will be sent to the Rhode Island Crime Laboratory for testing, according to police.Officials said the three surviving victims of the shooting remain hospitalized in critical condition.
