RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) — Two Raleigh SWAT officers were taken to WakeMed after an incident in the 7100 block of Woodbend Drive, RPD Chief of Police Rico Boyce told ABC11.

Boyce said he was waiting for an update on the conditions of the officers, and added that a suspect was in custody.

RPD described the scene in north Raleigh as an ongoing, active investigation and advised the public to avoid the area.

There is no ongoing threat to the community, police said.

RPD said it would provide more details in a news conference scheduled for 10:45 p.m. at police headquarters.

No other details were immediately available.
