Millie Bobby Brown celebrated her 22nd birthday at Maison Close Restaurant in New York City alongside her Stranger Things costar David Harbour, her family and her friends

Their hangout comes months after the Daily Mail reported in November that the actress filed a bullying and harassment complaint against Harbour before filming on season 5 began

Brown has since expressed that she values her friendship with Harbour “more than anything”

David Harbour helped Millie Bobby Brown celebrate her latest birthday.

Nearly four months after the Daily Mail reported that the Stranger Things actress allegedly filed a bullying and harassment claim against her costar, 50, ahead of filming season 5 of the Netflix show, the duo was spotted celebrating Brown’s 22nd birthday at Maison Close Restaurant in New York City on Friday, Feb. 20. Brown turned 22 the day before.

In photos from her birthday celebrations, Brown could be seen arriving at the SoHo restaurant alongside her husband, Jake Bongiovi, her grandparents and her mother. Shortly behind them, Harbour quietly arrived on his own, joining Jamie Campbell Bower, Shawn Levy, Whitney Leavitt, Conner Leavitt and Elena Taber for the festivities.

“22. grateful for my husband and daughter. for my family and friends. all of my animals,” Brown wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her and her daughter sitting on a beach on Thursday, Feb. 19. “I am so blessed. thank you for the birthday wishes.”

Despite reports that harassment claims against Harbour led to a “months”-long investigation into what a source said was “pages and pages of accusations,” Brown told The Hollywood Reporter just weeks later that she and Harbour had been putting on a united front “for the last 10 years.”

“We have always been united in that,” she said in the Nov. 26 interview. “We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything.”

Brown also expressed how nice it was to share scenes with Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper, the adoptive father of her character, Eleven, on the Stranger Things set.

“It was quite nostalgic because it reminded me so much of season 2 and 3, where we’re both kind of butting heads and she’s growing up, she’s trying to find her own voice and he’s trying to parent, and that dynamic definitely comes back into play once again, and I’m really excited for people to see that,” she said.

On Nov. 28, Brown further spoke to her and Harbour’s relationship by emphasizing that she “felt safe” around the actor.

“Of course I felt safe. I mean, we’ve worked together for 10 years,” Brown told Deadline. “I feel safe with everyone on that set. You naturally just, you know … you’ve been doing it for so long.”

“We also play father and daughter, so naturally you have a closer bond than the rest, because we have had some really intense scenes together, especially in season 2,” she added.

When it later came time for the Stranger Things cast to read the script for the show’s final episode, Brown choked up as she read her character’s final goodbye to Harbour’s, as seen in the Netflix documentary, One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5.

“When you found me in the woods, I was just a kid,” Brown said, reading the scene between Eleven and Hopper. “I was scared. I didn’t understand this world, didn’t understand people. But you took me in and you taught me.”

She then paused to look at Harbour across the room with a sad smile on her face, choking up as she continued, “You protected me, you raised me, you became my dad.”
