Check out the best prediction and pick on DraftKings Sportsbook for Monday’s Unrivaled matchup between the Breeze and Mist.
Unrivaled has a two-game slate featured on Monday night as the regular season winds down. Every game means so much more for playoff positioning with six of the eight clubs making the postseason.
The Mist, who have already clinched a playoff spot with an 8-4 record, will play the 6-6 Breeze on Monday night.
The Mist are 1.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, while the Breeze are +100 on the moneyline. The game total is set at 142.5 points.
Let’s dive into a preview, prediction and pick for tonight’s Breeze vs. Mist matchup.
Breeze vs. Mist prediction, preview
The Breeze acquired Courtney Williams mid-season as the team pushes for the playoffs. While they haven’t secured a spot officially, the team is in fourth place in the league. Barring a complete meltdown and some help from other teams, the Breeze will be in the postseason.
Paige Bueckers leads the team as she continues to emerge as one of the best players in women’s basketball. She’s averaging a league-best 24.5 points per game along with 6.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game. She’s doing so efficiently, too, as she’s shooting 53.1% from the field and 37% from deep.
Dominique Malonga, Rickea Jackson, Cameron Brink and Kate Martin round out the rotation in what looks like a formidable squad heading into the playoffs.
The Mist have a balanced effort led by Breanna Stewart. Stewart is averaging 20.7 points and 9.7 rebounds while shooting 49.7% from the field and 30.2% from deep on 3.6 attempts per game. Despite not being incredibly efficient from outside, the two-time WNBA MVP is making a major impact for an Unrivaled playoff team.
Allisha Gray leads the team in scoring with 21.4 points per game. The Stewart-Gray duo most recently dismantled the Lunar Owls by 19 points to improve to 8-4.
Breeze vs. Mist pick, best bet
Both teams are coming off major victories, so each side will have a fair share of momentum. Even with a playoff spot secured, the Mist haven’t stepped off the gas. They’re going full throttle to earn the best positioning for the postseason.
Still, I like the Breeze in this one to pull off the slight upset.
