It’s no secret that most dogs love going to the dog park, where they can run and play and hang out with their canine friends. That’s why we cracked up when we ran across this video that Dogvills shared on TikTok recently of what happens when the dogs spot a squirrel or two running through a tree… It’s the perfect example of groupthink mentality!
At a dog park in New York City, just about every dog there stopped what they were doing to stand around a tree where two squirrels were climbing above, to watch the critters. They’re all standing completely still, probably hoping that if they don’t move, the squirrels will come down. It’s the funniest thing you’ll see today!
Dogsvill made us laugh with their caption, “The moment the entire dog park shares one brain cell…”
It’s a funny one to see happening, especially since we’ve never seen anything like it before!

Funny Reactions to the Dogs Standing at Attention To Watch the Squirrels
Viewers all got a kick out of the attentive dogs watching the squirrels and left some funny comments. @RabidRazorback pointed out, “It’s a group project.” @spiritualconversationist added, “Collective consciousness, LOL!”
Commenter @linda wasn’t wrong when she pointed out, “The squirrels love to tease the dogs.” This is true at our house; the squirrels run halfway down the 100-foot-tall pines in our backyard just to make our dog try to jump and climb to catch them!
“Now all those dogs, every time they go back, will check that tree, LOL!” said @Alicia, and everybody agreed. @Baffled shared, “Who knew a squirrel would be the world‘s best babysitter.”
@MossBoss02 made us laugh when they shared, “That Pointer is like, this is clearly a job for me, everyone.” @Christina added, “I don’t think they quite know what to do with the situation.” They might not know what to do, but they’re definitely enjoying it!
