The game felt pretty much like any other at the start of the contest between the Boston Celtics and the Minnesota Timberwolves. That is, at least, before star Celtics forward Jayson Tatum began to heat up in the second half of the contest. Soon it was evident this was no typical scoring outburst from the St. Louis native, and that we were collectively witnessing some history in the making.

By the time the final buzzer had sounded on that historic contest, Tatum had put up the second most points he had ever logged in his career, and one of the best scoring nights had by any Celtic in the storied franchise’s history, a whopping 53 points.
