A public open house is being held Thursday night to answer questions about a massive lighting project at Waveland Golf Course in Des Moines. Des Moines Parks and Recreation is collaborating with the C Corporation and Musco Lighting on the $1.5 million project. Representatives from the companies and the city will be on hand to talk about the lighting improvements along nine holes along the north and west boundaries of the course.The city says the project will enhance community programming and strengthen Waveland’s role as a neighborhood destination.The open house is being held Thursday, February 26, at 6 p.m. at the Waveland Golf Course Clubhouse at 4908 University Ave.
